New phase, new place, same corny guy..woohoo!
To all my dear readers.
The old familiar euveng.blogspot.com …
is now…
euveng.com!
I’ve been wanting to do this for some time, and finally it’s happened.
Gone are the days where I have to wait for Blogger to make available some *&%^% plugin or feature.
Gone also are days where I have to hunt for a proper photo hosting space.
That means I can squeeze more pics n more hi-tech interfaces to share with y’all! =)
And also a higher chance of screwing up the entire site with my tweaking and constant fidgeting with the settings and javascripts.
So, here we are with my new crib.
And since you’re here, why don’t you check out what’s new?
1. Lifestream : the main attraction
On the middle column is my lifestream (which I think should be called liVestream instead) where there’ll be live feed of my Twitter, Twitpic feeds and possible Flickr feeds. It brings ‘microblogging’ to a whole different level, where my ‘twits’ can be read one by one, live.
And at the end of the day, there’s an Auto-post (I hope) that summarizes as the ‘story of the day’. Geeky, but I like it. Definitely more live than normal posts.
2. Photo interface : in da near future
Like what I’ve been doing for the Bellygood food review and Special Genting trip (click links), I’m gona create a special photo-viewing interface so everyone can see what they’re downloading instead of grabbing d whole zip file. I hate it too when I get nonsense pics of everybody but me, that’s why I created this interface. Soon to come, soon to come.
3. Easy-comments : also in da near future
Simply put : no more having to re-type ur email / website / stupid verifications..
…’I’m a Ling ku pao’ LOL
Just type & verify once, you’re automatically registered (I hope). I personally love this a lot so this is gona be a priority.
4. More blogroll links on the right xD
I know some people out there will hentam me for not putting their links, but it was pretty late at night so I just copied the first 5-6 links and fell asleep on my table. Serious waaaan.
5. Also, I’m trying to pull in all my old posts, but it’s not working out yet. And of course, nicer richer backgrounds and details of myself.
Alright, gota go now. I really am rushing shopping and packing now for trip tomorrow (10-13 May)…but I so had to post this up.
This pretty much explains why I seemed to be MIA for the past coupla days..heh heh. I apologize for that and promise I’ll be coming around to your blogs as mucho as possible after the trip.
BTW, don’t be surprised if you can’t find the features that I mentioned. That means I screwed up the settings and it didn’t come out right. You know lah. Last minute work >_<
